Camera is a metal box and lens is a piece of glass, they can just make an image. But, real good image is made the eye behind the viewfinder and the brain of the photographer.….this is what I believe, impressive photography is all about.
I’ve always been very receptive to light, shadows and objects which bounces the light to lit the subject and fill the space around, be it in the form of any art (2D) or movies (3D). The play of light… an incredible symphony, that never fails to escape my eyes. I guess my drawings and paintings were all inspired by this. But from last eight years the canvas got replaced by the camera. Along with my marketing assignments I started getting involved in photography. Photography which began as a hobby now turned into a passion. Today I spend available time thinking and experimenting with photography to sharpen the skills.
A crash course of 12 days in basic technique of photography from the fashion photographer Mr Harpreet Bachher’s Stuio 27 degree, and then few outings and workshop with Photographer’s Society of Pune helped me to understand the nuances of photography. The whole concept of light and shadow seem to fascinate me. Photography changed my insight of the world and made me realize how beautiful the world around us is, and the more we explore, the more and more beautiful it gets. I believe I will take up photography as my full time profession one day and will get paid as per the industry standard. This profession will offer me an opportunity to live my life the way I want and also give 101% satisfaction for the efforts .
I enjoy spending my weekends with my camera and in my studio with the lights and photo editing software. I also spend lot of time on internet surfing sites related to photography or administering the club – Pay Back to Pune, Photographs.
As a person, I am ready to experiment and learn new things. Your view on my work is always welcomed and appreciated because that helps me grow as a person and also understand other’s perspective.
